Listen to the Messages All Around You

The universe is speaking to me.

Last night, Debbie Reynolds (my awesome neighbor/client/friend, not the actress who has already passed on) came by my house in the evening and chatted for a bit before she picked up her computer that I fixed for her.

She told me that Joanna had recommended to her that she read “The Big Magic“.  What she was getting from the book was that she needed to just do it (her website blog) and not worry about perfection.

Then today I listened to a podcast by James Wedmore that was about not worrying about perfection and just doing it.

Don’t connect your emotions to what you are doing or the product or launch that you are doing.  Just do it.  It’s just what you are doing day to day.

Also, Debbie said that the book she was reading talked about not procrastinating your life away.  That’s why you can’t wait until you have something perfected.

You need to do every day what you want in order to make your life what you want – in so many words.  ðŸ™‚

And then, this came up.

The easiest way to sell products and make good money is to find out what your people want and then make it and sell it to them.

No second guessing.

I know all this.  I’m an information junkie.

Now I need to pull up my straps and do it.  Anything.  Get the course out there.

Ask people what they want help with when doing their own website. Then I can just give it to them.

I’m also still having troubles with figuring out this eating plan thing.

I have a hard time planning meals with no meat.  I want familiarity and comfort and yummy taste…satisfying.

I think I’m getting closer.

I am really interested in the Macrobiotics plan, but it is still too rigid and different.  I can still utilize many of the concepts and make my eating plan my own.

The main things are this: remove the following from your diet…

  • dairy
  • sugar
  • too much meat
  • processed products
  • white flour products
  • chemical foods

The rest is good to go:

  • grains, rice, oats, etc.
  • beans and legumes
  • veggies
  • fruit
  • nuts
  • seeds
  • bone broth
  • apple cider vinegar and other fermented foods

Here are some do-able ideas:

  • juicing fruits and vegetables
  • smoothies
  • chopped salads
  • rice dishes with veggies
  • beans in salads, rice dishes, etc.
  • soups
  • desserts using nuts, tofu, avocado, etc

Now things are sounding better.  I should make a list of actual menus with recipes I can make quickly and keep ingredients on hand.

First, I do it for myself, which I am documenting on this blog.  Then I can show others how.

What are your thoughts?

What messages are you getting?

Make sure to write them down so you don’t forget.

Then you can reflect on them in the evening before you go to bed.

Sweet dreams!
